I have a background as an EMT and in Law Enforcement and am now working in the field of Super-Computers. I specialize in Ham Radio communications and emergency power systems. When there are local preparedness conferences I usually get called as a "presenter" for those two items.

I'm a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to 7 and a lover
of nature and natural products with no chemicals, preservatives,
hormones, or anti-biotics. My husband and I recently rid our home
of all "toxic" foods and went organic. We're not vegans - we just
like foods with no added hormones, anti-biotics and chemicals.

Having no blog experience or writing skills I decided to put our favorite
